We use our New Zealand-based partner, Cloudcheck, to help us check your address. We're required to verify that you are who you say you are as part of our role as accountants and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Legislation in New Zealand.
Cloucheck checks your address details on your ID document against national New Zealand databases such as the NZTA Drivers Licence database. We understand that people move house all the time, so this isn't always the most up-to-date.
If your address check has returned as failed, all you'll need to do is send us a proof of address document. We can collect these from well-known New Zealand Companies, such as your bank, local council, power or phone provider. Some common suppliers we use are;
Banks (ANZ, BNZ, Kiwibank, ASB, Westpac)
Telephone and Internet (Spark, Vodafone, 2Degrees, Slingshot)
Insurance (AMI, AMP, State)
Local Council rates bills
Power (Contact, Meridian, Flick, Powershop, Mercury)
You'll need to take a copy of a bill addressed to you and showing your home address, and send it into our Support team at Support@beany.com
