The Inland Revenue payment plans, or instalment arrangements as they are also known, are handled under a completely manual process at Inland Revenue. This means that the tax data we receive does not show us if any of our clients have agreements in place to pay off taxes over time. If you have an agreement in place, your Beany page may not be showing this correctly.
However - we also receive letters from Inland Revenue on behalf of our clients, which can provide details of these plans. We can enter these manually, so you can correctly see the payments displaying on your Beany page. Inland Revenue does not send letters for all payment plans, so our visibility is still limited here.
If you've made an arrangement to pay off your taxes with Inland Revenue and your Beany page is not displaying this correctly, please get in touch with our friendly Support team, with copies of any emails or letters you have from the IRD confirming the plan. We can get these loaded to your page so that your tax looks the way it should.
